AAV Packaging Mixes and Serotyping

As a world leader in Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) technology, abm has developed unique packaging mixes for each serotype, each containing two plasmids to separate the AAV structural and replication genes until the time of viral production, and preventing the structural genes from being present in the genome of the produced virus. AAV Serotype Blast™ Kit
293T cells were seeded at 20,000 cells/well in 24-well plate. Next day they were transduced with different serotypes of AAV at a MOI of 500. This image shows that serotype 1,2 and 3 is best for this cell line while serotype 4-6 show very low transduction efficiency.
