Applications
  • Dephosphorylation of 5’ and 3’ ends of DNA and RNA.
  • Dephosphorylation of cloning vector DNA to prevent vector recircularization and reduce background.
  • Dephosphorylation of DNA prior to end-labeling using T4 Polynucleotide Kinase.
Concentration 1000 U/ml
Format Enzyme supplied with a 10X Reaction Buffer. Incubate at 37°C.
Unit Definition One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that hydrolyzes 1 μmol of p-Nitrophenyl Phosphate (PNPP) in a total reaction volume of 1 ml in 1 minute at 37°C.
Storage Condition Store all components at -20°C.
Storage Buffer 12.5 mM Tris, 125 µM MgCl2, 12.5 µM ZnSO4, 50% Glycerol, pH 7.5.
