Description | RecBCD (Exonuclease V) is a Mg2 and ATP-dependent enzyme possessing exonuclease activity on linear double stranded (ds) DNA. The exonuclease digests DNA from both the 5’ and 3’ ends to produce oligonucleotides. RecBCD (Exonuclease V) does not degrade circular dsDNA such as plasmid DNA. |
