Description
Glycerol (글리세롤, C3H8O3)은 Triglyceride의 주성분으로 지방의 주된 저장 형태입니다. 생체내에서는 산화와 생합성 과정 등이 포함된 에너지 대사 과정에서 주요 성분으로서의 역할을 하고, 산업에서는 음료, 용제, 제약 그리고 화장품 등 광범위하게 사용됩니다. 생리 조건하에서 triglyceride는 lypolysis과정을 통해 glycerol과 free fatty acid로 가수분해 되는데 Free fatty acid와는 달리 Glycerol은 지방 조직에서 재사용되지 않습니다.
EZ- Free Glycerol Assay Kit는 다양한 시료에서 free glycerol의 농도를 측정하는 민감하고 쉬운 분석법을 제공합니다. 분석에서 Glycerol은 효소적으로 산화된 생성물이 probe와 반응하여 흡광 (λ = 570 nm) 및 형광 (Ex/Em = 535/595 nm)을 측정할 수 있게 합니다.
