| Description | Exonuclease I, E.coli catalyzes the removal of nucleotides from single-stranded DNA in the 3’→5’ direction, releasing deoxyribonucleoside 5'-monophosphates and leaving 5'-terminal dinucleotides intact. Hydrolysis cannot proceed if the 3’-terminus is phosphorylated. |
